Wendy Bailey’s partnership with equines spans over five decades, reflecting a lifelong dedication to the equestrian arts. Immersed in equine culture from a young age, she has gained extensive experience across a diverse range of disciplines, including English and Western riding, jumping, and packing. Her deep passion for horsemanship combines competitive achievement with educational pursuits, allowing her to blend practical riding skills with a rich appreciation for equestrian history and tradition. Throughout her career, Wendy has demonstrated versatility and commitment, making valuable contributions to both the sporting and cultural aspects of the equine world.

Wendy holds an Associate of Science degree in aviation and is a licensed private pilot. Beyond her equestrian pursuits, she built a remarkable 38+ year career in the largest Public Works agency in the United States. Throughout her tenure, she worked primarily in nontraditional, blue-collar roles, including operating heavy trucks and construction equipment. She rose through the ranks to become a Road Maintenance Superintendent, overseeing major projects, developing teams, and cultivating leadership in others.

Sharing a lifelong love of horses and history.

As she transitions from her professional career, Wendy is focusing on sharing her lifelong love of equines and history with others. Through her wealth of experience, she hopes to inspire joy, education, and appreciation for the equestrian traditions that have shaped her life.
